WASHINGTON — Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist (search) died Saturday evening at his home in suburban Virginia, said Supreme Court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg.
Now it's going to get interesting - the battle lines between the left and the right have never been more pronounced than they are today. The New Orleans disaster has provoked both sides.
The Flomblog predicts: An Italian-American President - Guiliani - and an Italian-American Chief Justice - Scalia?
It could happen.
