Just when I was getting comfortable with the new Pope - this happens:
The vatican did not include Israel in its comments against terrorism the oehr day - this brought some questions. Well the questions have been answered -- according to a Vatican spokesman:
It's not always possible to immediately follow every attack against Israel with a public statement of condemnation," a statement from the Vatican press office said Thursday night, "and (that is) for various reasons, among them the fact that the attacks against Israel sometimes were followed by immediate Israeli reactions not always compatible with the rules of international law."
So -- If a Palistinian Blows up a school bus and Israel retailiates with a missle against a legitimate military target -- there is moral equivalency?
Lets all gather around in a group hug and sing Kumbaya!
Here we go again!
