Every night the mainstream media announces the body count from Iraq. We are kept current on the number of Iraqi soldiers and policemen killed. As a group we fold our arms, shake our heads and make sucking sounds with our mouths. I see something different.
I see a group of Iraqi young men fighting and giving their lives to win the freedom that we've promised them. Their sacrifices implore us to stand firm and support them.
We turned our back on the South Vietnamese and we know what happened there. Mr Durbin, Shut the hell up!
