Well, according to AP, that is the truth. Lets take another point of view - IS the dollar falling or are the Euro and Loonie rising in value? The AP article makes a major point of the American Tourist spending more. OK, that's a problem. However most of us won't be spending a lot of time on Europe or Canada, but is that really the point?
We are primarily a nation of business-people who survive by trading. As the Euro or Loonie go up, our products get cheaper in Europe and Canada. European and Canadian products get more expensive here. Now explain the problem to me?
