The Pope blows it again

I guess following John Paul II is a tough job, and the current Pope is far from up to it.

According to an AP Story The Pope stated ...
that Islamic countries to ensure religious rights for Christian migrants Monday while also saying Christians should continue welcoming Muslim immigrants with open arms.
The Pope is the most prominant religious figure in the world. However he seems to be unaware of the potential power of his office. In India and Pakistan, Hindu's are being threatened, Sikhs and Buddists are being oppressed worldwide. Muslims deny religious rights to all but Muslims. However -- Did the Pope mention any other religious group being oppressed? How about the Jews?

John Paul II understood that the power of the Vatican was also a great responsibility. I don't think Pope Benedict XVI does.
