I was listening to a (an?) Hispanic Civil Rights organizer this morning. He was talking about the bastardized version of the National Anthem. It was justified, of course, by the babies that we are killing in Iraq ...and no one stopped him! No one corrected him or asked him for his source of information! And this was FOX. The last time I was accused of being a baby killer - the guy who did it ran for president, and lost!
American troops are magnificant! How dare that fool use them as an excuse for asking for rights that they have not earned. When American troops break the laws, they are court martialed and punished! By our Military! Before the press finds out!
Now we are supposed to gear up for a civilization deadening general strike. They're not going to work, They're not going to spend money. Us Jews have been doing that weekly for centuries - It's called Shabbos (Sabbath). Civilization does not come to a grinding halt. May 1st will not shake up the world either.
Yes we're all Immigrants, but our parents and grandparents came here - through Ellis Island, passed a physical exam. Went to night school, learned English and took pride at being Americans. We never sung the Star Spangled Banner in Yiddish. I've never picked up the phone and heard
