Our major left-talk radio has named itself Air America. I find this massively offensive.
Once upon a time there was this group of pilots and support personal who worked for an civilian airline called Air America. Their accomplishments are only now starting to become public knowledge. They fought a war that did not exist in a nation in which we were not present. The got NO recognition for what they accomplished, and they accomplished a lot! A few of them are honored by un-named stars on the wall of a building near Washington DC.
Air America - be careful, some of them just might come back for their name someday.
